I have bought several of the baby hair clips, and just recently started buying this size after receiving a sample. It has a harder snap than the baby clips, but my friend whose daughter has been wearing these for years says it's to be able to hold thicker chunks of hair without slipping. These are still really light so she doesn't feel them, and I love knowing these will last us a really long time!
